The Workforce Solutions Golden Crescent Board serves as the governing board for the regional workforce system, a network of service providers and contractors that brings people and jobs together in the seven-county Golden Crescent region. Our membership reflects the diverse constituencies of the regional community: business, economic development, education, labor, community organizations, and government.The Golden Crescent Region is less than two hours from the major cities of Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi and has a population of 183,000. Of the counties, Victoria County is the largest and has a population of 85,648 and is located in the center of the region. There are a total of eight One-Stop Workforce Centers in the Golden Crescent Region, serving the following counties: Calhoun, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Lavaca, and Victoria.
