Child Care Services

Workforce Solutions  maintains a list of childcare providers who have agreed to provide services for families in need of care for their children.  The Child Care program provides subsidized child care for parents that are working, training, or enrolled in educational programs.  Eligibility for the program is determined by the parent's monthly gross income.

Child Care Provider Qualifications

Providers that have an agreement with Workforce Solutions must meet the following qualifications:

  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
  • Registered with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
  • Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a youth day camp; or
  • Operated and monitored by the United States military services.
  • Are not the subject of any corrective or adverse action with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, the Texas Department of Health, or any other state or federal agency.

Providers receive technical assistance from Workforce Solutions Child Development staff to enhance services as needed.
